Puertasaurus found in Argentina

The Puertasaurus reuili lived 70 million years ago when the african and american lands have already split apart

Mexico city (July 21, 2006) - Argentina seems to have the biggest titanosaurid fo the world.

Paleontolgist from Argentina, leed by Fernando Novas, found four vertebrates of what could be the biggest dinosaur of the world.

Fernando Novas is an specialist from Argentina Museum of Natural sciences. They found the remains in the Patagonia,

"We must remember the existence of the Argentinosaurus huinculensis, who was also huge and its vertebrates were smaller", he added in a phone interview.

The vertebrate measures 1.2 by 1.4 meters. By the form of the vertabrates scientist deduce this is a different sauropod:
